Ordination Council & Ordination Service – Mark Your Calendars

Join us as we celebrate an important milestone in the lives and ministries of Lucas Meredith and Justin Gilbert.

On Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, an Ordination Council will examine these men as they seek formal ordination to Christian ministry. The council, made up of four pastors, will evaluate the candidates in the areas of:

• Bible Knowledge
• Systematic Theology
• Biblical Counseling
• Apologetics

We invite our church family to attend, observe, and support these men during this significant time. If you plan to attend, please sign up so we can prepare accordingly.

Ordination Council Schedule

Friday, June 26
6:30–8:30 PM
Examination of Biblical Knowledge
Coffee and water provided

Saturday, June 27
Arrive at 8:30 AM
Council begins at 9:00 AM and concludes around 11:30 AM
Examination of Systematic Theology, Biblical Counseling, and Apologetics
Coffee, orange juice, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and other breakfast snacks provided

Sunday Ordination Service

On Sunday morning, we will gather for worship and the formal ordination service.

We are pleased to welcome Brian Murphy, CEO of XL Ministries, who will be preaching during our morning service. Following the sermon, Lucas Meredith and Justin Gilbert will be called forward as the Ordination Council and Elders of Beacon of Hope lay hands on them and formally ordain them to gospel ministry.
