Men’s & Women’s Bible Study: The Book of Judges
God is looking for a few good people.
Picture a world where people live according to their own personal standards, believers struggle to agree, and people are trapped in every kind of sin. Sound familiar?
These challenges may feel especially relevant today, but they also describe the world we encounter in the book of Judges. In the midst of spiritual compromise and confusion, God worked through men and women who were ready, willing, and available to Him.
This fall, our men’s and women’s Bible studies will walk through Be Available (Judges): Accept the Challenge to Confront the Enemy by Warren W. Wiersbe. Together, we’ll see how God advances His purposes through ordinary people who are willing to trust Him, stand for what is right, and step into the work He has given them.
Men and women will meet on alternating Wednesdays in the upstairs conference room, beginning with the men on September 16.
Please register through Church Center.
Adventure Club | PreK–5th Grade
Adventure Club gives children a fun, energetic evening centered on biblical truth.
Each week includes worship, games, Scripture memory, and age-appropriate teaching designed to help children grow in their understanding of God’s Word and the church. This year, students will work through topics including church discipline, church membership, and dispensationalism.
Children can also earn pins during review weeks as they learn and recite their memory verses.

Pathways | Grades 6–12
New this year!
Pathways, our new student ministry for middle and high school students, also launches Wednesday nights this fall.
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to gather for biblical teaching, fellowship, and discipleship as they learn what it means to follow Christ and walk according to His Word.

Volunteers Needed
As we prepare for the fall, we are still looking for volunteers to serve as:
- Sunday School teachers for PreK–12th Grade
- Adventure Club volunteers
These ministries are an important part of discipling the children and students in our congregation. Please prayerfully consider whether you may be able to serve this year.
If you are willing to help, contact Emma Johnson at ejohnson@beaconforthecity.org.
