On Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, an Ordination Council will examine these men as they seek formal ordination to Christian ministry. The council, made up of four pastors, will evaluate the candidates in the areas of:

• Bible Knowledge
• Systematic Theology
• Biblical Counseling
• Apologetics

We invite our church family to attend, observe, and support these men during this significant time. If you plan to attend, please sign up so we can prepare accordingly.

Sunday Ordination Service

On Sunday morning, we will gather for worship and the formal ordination service.

We are pleased to welcome Brian Murphy, CEO of XL Ministries, who will be preaching during our morning service. Following the sermon, Lucas Meredith and Justin Gilbert will be called forward as the Ordination Council and Elders of Beacon of Hope lay hands on them and formally ordain them to gospel ministry.

We hope you will join us for this special weekend as we celebrate God’s work in raising up faithful men for ministry.

This summer at Beacon of Hope, we’ll be opening the Bible together through the book of Jonah.

Jonah is not just a story about a storm or a great fish. It is a story about the mercy of God. Through the life of this reluctant prophet, we see a God who pursues sinners, shows compassion to the undeserving, and calls people to repentance and faith.

This series begins Sunday, June 7 and will continue throughout the summer during our Sunday worship service.

Join us as we consider the mercy, compassion, and sovereignty of God in the book of Jonah—and the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Looking for a fun and affordable Vacation Bible School (VBS) in St. Paul, MN? Join us at Beacon of Hope Church for Emerald Crossing VBS — a Christ-centered summer program for kids in the Twin Cities area.

Beacon of Hope Church in St. Paul, Minnesota invites children to explore Psalm 23 through an exciting Irish-themed adventure at Emerald Crossing VBS. Each day includes Bible teaching, crafts, games, science activities, music, and snacks designed to help kids grow in their understanding of God and His Word.

If you're searching for a VBS near you, a kids summer program in St. Paul, or a Vacation Bible School in the Twin Cities, we would love to have your family join us this summer.

Volunteers: Volunteer registration is also open on Church Center. There are opportunities to serve before, during, and after VBS, including set-up, security, nursery, snack prep, Bible teaching, crafts, games, and cleanup. Men, women, and teens (4th grade and above) are encouraged to get involved.

TruthEx: Dismantling Evolution (2026)

If you are interested in becoming a member of Beacon of Hope we will be offering our New Members Class beginning Sunday, April 12 til Sunday, May 17 during the Sunday School Hour at Suite 850. 

Class registration will open soon. We will be going through the Study Book, “Life in the Father’s House” by Wayne A. Mack, which you can order online before class begins.

We are all acutely aware of economic hardships these days but choose to remember those in our neighborhood with even greater needs. Please consider donating an extra gift or three for this year's event.

Who We Serve

Our Annual Toy Drive provides toys from tots to teens and is in direct support of the Eastside Salvation Army for distribution. Please bring all gifts to the church and place them in the toy bin in the lobby now through December 24. Please consider making your toy donation earlier so the kids can enjoy seeing gifts under the tree!

It’s that wonderful time of year again—time to prepare for the Beacon Annual Christmas Cantata!

Rehearsals will begin Saturday, October 12, and take place upstairs in Conference Room A. All current choir members are asked to confirm their participation for this year’s performance.

We’re also inviting new voices to join us! If you love to sing, this is a joyful opportunity to be part of something special. Each year, our choir shares the hope and beauty of the Christmas story through music—and we have a lot of fun along the way.

Rehearsal Schedule (4:00–5:45 PM):

• December 13: Dress Rehearsal (10:30 AM–12:30 PM, Sanctuary)

The Christmas Cantata performance will take place on Saturday, December 14 at 6:30 PM, followed by a reception.
